Cake Ingredients

Ingredients White Cake with Ice Cream

  • 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
  • Half teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Half cup plain soft butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs heated in lukewarm water for five minutes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup or extract
  • Half cup of sour cream
  • Metal spatulas and common 9″ springform pan
  • 6 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/3 cup of powdered sugar, 1.5 cups of chilled cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup for frosting
  • 1 cup of mixed fresh blueberry and raspberry for garnishing

Blueberry filling:

  • 2.5 cups of fresh blueberry
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of light corn extract or syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and fresh lime syrup
  • 1 teaspoon water

Raspberry filling:

  • 3 cups of fresh raspberry
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons light corn extract or syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch and fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon water

White Cake with Ice Cream

Cake Baking Instructions

  • Take 9” springform pan and grease it with butter for easy release of baked cake.
  • Place rack in the middle and pre-heat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  • Mix baking powder and soda in all-purpose flour, and add ¼ teaspoon of salt in a bowl while sifting dough properly.
  • Batter required quantity of sugar and butter in a separate bowl for approximately 5 minutes with the help of mixer at medium pace.
  • Add vanilla syrup into the second bowl and beat warm eggs one by one into the light colored fluffy batter.
  • Now cut down on the mixer speed while bringing both the bowls together and mix well with sour cream as required.
  • Spread smoothened batter evenly into springform pan.
  • Bake your favorite white cake for good 30-40 minutes. You can also check if it’s baked well or not by poking toothpick into the center and see if it comes out clean.
  • And now, let the cake cool-off completely at a rack for about 10 minutes.
