Chocolate Cake Recipe

  • 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cake of un-salted butter
  • 2.5 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of light corn syrup extracted from processed cornstarch
  • Half cup of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup or extract
  • Different cake decoration items

Cake Baking Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F beforehand, and make sure chocolate cake recipe ingredients are at room temperature before starting with the baking process.
  • Take 8” pans and grease them with butter for easy release of baked cake.

  • Spread half of the prepared frosting on one baked cake while making the second one sit on top of the first. Now sandwich both of the cakes together and spread remaining frosting on top of the second cake.
